March 2009

Check out what Sinema has in store for you come April!

Join us for this weekend long film making competition – 1st to 3rd May 2009! The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and a team make a movie—write, shoot, edit and score it—in just 48 hours.

Some habits are practical and make for simple sense. There are others which it is simply a luxury to indulge in. But when those two happen to fall into one, then you know you are in the right place at the right time precisely.

Rule 1: You are supposed to produce a short film lasting no longer than 300 seconds (5 minutes). Rule 2: You must strictly follow the theme, ‘Singapore Film, Theatre & Music’. Rule 3: Challenge your own assumptions and come up with the most creative short film.

Mathias Ortmann (MO): To begin, my congratulations on your small but intense film “The Olive Depression”! Joshua Lim (JL): Thank you very much.
