He has played characters that every woman adores. And actor Rahul Bose loves that bit. “Boys don’t watch love stories. It is the women who drive the audience to such films. Guys don’t mind accompanying them. So, I love doing films on relationships, which bring in the audience,” says Rahul, who awaits the release of another such film – Kucch Luv Jaisaa.

Bose says, “Each of my characters has struck a particular chord with the women audience. Be it my role in Mr & Mrs Iyer, where girls got thinking “˜what if’ and “˜if only’ or the complete jerk in Pyaar Ke Side Effects, where girls have known such guys in their lives.

Then my role in The Japanese Wife had all girls sighing “˜I wish a guy loved me like that’. The reason is, women love to share their emotions, men on the other hand, prefer to act simple even though they’re complicated.”

Probe him further and he says, “Men are like that. They don’t want to share their feelings or talk about emotional issues. I recently found out about a friend of mine who has been living apart from his wife and kid because of his extra marital affair only through a newspaper report. When I call him, he behaves like his world is completely alright. That’s the problem with men.”
