Reading Time: < 1 minuteHong Kong comedy legend Michael Hui was presented last night with the inaugural Golden Mulberry Lifetime Achievement Award at the Far East Film Festival in Udine, Italy, before a special screening of his classic The Private Eyes.
Upon receiving the award in front of a crowded audience in the ongoing event’s main theatre, Hui said, “It’s an honour for me to receive this prize in Udine at a festival with so many film-lovers in attendance. I intend to continue making more comedies and making the world a better place.”
