IF THE measure of power is an aggregate of the number of areas in which one has influence, then Irene Ang just might be the Margaret Thatcher of the local entertainment scene.

Her little company Fly Entertainment is now a key player in the entertainment industry, with fingers in nearly every pie.

Besides its artiste management unit, it also has a casting arm, an events arm, a concerts arm and, most recently, a movie-making arm, with Perfect Rivals in cinemas on March 17. The film, about a face-off between two bak kwa-making outfits, boasts Ang as both female lead and executive producer.
