Sundance Films Examine Social Injustice, Empowerment
Three international documentaries recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
The films shed light on the struggle for empowerment by people around the world and offer a unique perspective on three different societies: Ghana, Ukraine and the United States.
They are expected to be shown in movie theaters and on television around the world, later this year.
The documentary, “An African Election,” by filmmaker Jarreth Merz, examines the 2008 presidential elections in Ghana.
