Directors have been set for two US remakes of Japanese films.

Shane Black will direct the English-language version of Death Note, which was originally a Manga and became a TV series and three films in 2006-2008.

Gareth Edwards, who recently won a shower of awards for his first film Monsters, will direct Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros.’ Godzilla’.
