KiddiCine: A ‘film festival’ for children1 min read

Five children were given the opportunity to have their stories come alive on the big screen in a film festival held late last month.

The KiddiCine, organized by Kraft Foods Philippines, showcased 5 short films inspired by the theme “Because I Can” last November 27 at Cinema 4 of the Gateway Mall in Cubao, Quezon City.

“[The film festival] was born out of our curiosity to see the world through the eyes of those who live with limitless possibilities,” said Cynthia Icasas, beverage category manager of Kraft Foods Philippines.

The 5 kids were able to try their hand at filmmaking through workshops held by some of the country’s best independent film and commercial directors.
