The annual trade show for the Broadcast and Media Industries in Asia, BroadcastAsia, is set to return this year from June 16 to 19, bringing with it bigger interests and greater demands from the market.

In the previous year, BroadcastAsia2008, along with CommunicAsia2008 and CG Overdrive2008 saw the arrival of over 62,000 trade attendees. Over 2,200 exhibiting companies from 61 countries across Asia-Pacific, Europe, US and the Middle-East, featured the latest products and solutions at the shows.

Feedback from various exhibitors echoed that such an event acted as a powerful medium to showcase their products and an excellent meeting point for potential customers in this region.

“We are thrilled to know that BroadcastAsia had been rewarding for our exhibitors in 2008 and we are excited to bring the show back again in 2009,” said Senior Project Manager at show organiser Singapore Exhibition Services (SES), Calvin Koh.

“BroadcastAsia2009 will continue to be the must-attend trade event for the Asian broadcasting industry, featuring the newest technologies and addressing the most current issues in the rapidly evolving digital multimedia and entertainment technology sector.”

BroadcastAsia, CommunicAsia, InteractiveDME, EnterpriseIT, CG Overdrive, as well as various inter-government meetings, are part of the Infocomm Media Business Exchange (imbX).  imbX, in its 5th edition in 2009, is Asia’s largest infocomm and media event and contributes to Singapore’s position as a leading infocomm and media hub.
