freebie.jpgHelmed by Dov Simens, the dean of the Hollywood Film Institute, the 2-Day Film School condenses film theory and education into an intensive weekend course which have been attended by Hollywood illuminaries such as Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez and Guy Ritchie. To date, he has taught over 15,000 students over the past 15 years, and have also imparted his knowledge at New York university, UCLA and other film schools from around the world.

Simens describes his course as a “no-holds barred, rapid fire weekend designed for anyone from first-time filmmakers to industry professionals seeking the information they need to succeed, both in Singapore and internationally.”

Split into two days (“Make it” and “Sell it”), Day One will teach how to write, direct, shot and produce — from budgets from as low as US$5,000 and upwards till $5,000,000. Day-2 goes past the production stages and focuses on how to finance, distribute and profit with your movie with global sales. Graduates from the film school will receive a graduate diploma and certificate.

The three lucky winners will be announced on the 14th of January and be informed via email on the same day.
