Intra transcoder now available1 min read

A little while back I wrote about the new AVC-Intra codec and the support now available on Final Cut Pro 6.0.2, except this was on hold because the transcoder was not yet available. It is now available here for download.

Some things to note before you install it:

mSystem requirements:
— Operating system: Mac OS X 10.4.11 (10.5, or Leopard, is still being tested upon)
— Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2Ghz or higher (2x Quad-Core recommended)
— 2GB Ram or more

Note also, that this only works with FCP 6.0.2, so update your Final Cut first before installing this.

Hardware supported include:
— AJ-HPX3000 [camcorder] — AJ-HPX2000 [camcorder] — AJ-HPX2100 [camcorder] — AJ-HPM100 [recorder] — AJ-YBX200G [codec board]
