Call for entries: YourFilm.SG1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteThe South-West Community Development Council (CDC) has launched the first ever Youth Film Competition entitled YourFilm.SG. The competition is aimed at local youths who aspire to enter the media industry, as well as those who simply want to express themselves via film.
The theme for this year’s competition is “Youth-niquely Singapore” which, in a nutshell, translates as: What makes Singapore unique?
Any youth aged 13 to 35 from Singapore is eligible to enter their submissions in ANY format they wish. Footages can be captured on any device, including mobile phones, traditional film or digital cameras. Participants may submit films representative of their schools, youth organisations, or religious organisations; or they may submit films independently or with a group of friends. All entries will be showcased once they are approved and uploaded to the YourFilm.SG website.
Prizes to be won are as follows:
Top prize: $1,000 in cash and prizes
1st runner up: $800 in cash and prizes
2nd runner up: $300 in cash and prizes
Audience choice: $100 in cash and prizes
Registration is free. Participants may submit as many entries as they wish! Last submission deadline is 21st September 2007.
