This seminar will provide in-depth knowledge and challenges of High definition (HD) production to producers, directors and anyone who wants to understand the terms, new ways projects can be created and the basic bottom-line implications of the move to HD. It will also cover an overview of the entire process of HD – from production to post, as well as options available for HD acquisition and post-production. Participants can choose either the morning or afternoon session to attend.

This Workshop is specially designed for working camera operators who want to be more proficient or moving to HD production, and to better understand the visual content creation process on the HD cameras. Supported by the Media Development Authority and Panasonic Systems Asia Pacific, this Workshop is limited to a maximum of 20 participants.

ABOUT ROB DRAPER, A.C.S
Both the Workshop and Seminar are conducted by Rob Draper, renowned cinematographer with more than 30 years experience. Rob Draper, ACS, is one of the entertainment industry’s most innovative Directors of Photography. He has worked in more than 50 countries bringing his personal visual style to feature films for major Hollywood studios (the Sundance Award winning “Spitfire Grill”, among them), television series for NBC, ABC, CBS, HBO, Starz (including NBC’s “Ed” and HBO’s multiaward winning “Tales from the Crypt”), tele-features, commercials for clients such as Air France, General Motors, Ford, Nabisco, and Johnson & Johnson and documentaries. He has been actively involved in testing and evaluation of HD systems since 1997 as a result of his ability to create film style images on video
