NUS student film production house nuSTUDIOS is holding its first workshops open to the public this Saturday, December 16.

nuSTUDIOSJoin their camera workshop (10 am – 12 pm) to learn the technical aspects of digital cinematography as well as aesthetic considerations like framing and composition. Or pick up the basics of video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro (1:30 – 3:30 pm), such as capturing, timeline editing, creating titles and effects, and exporting.

You don’t need to know anything about digital video or filmmaking to sign up for these workshops, but participants do have to bring their own video cameras or laptops for editing. Both courses are held at Yusof Ishak House (YIH) Function Rooms and cost $50 each ($25 for NUS staff and students). Register with nuSTUDIOS’ contact Derek Tan:

    Hope it went well, nuSTUDIOS!!! Heh, I quit this CCA because the sessions ended too late, but it was hell lot of fun!
