Reading Time: < 1 minuteAsian films won several of the many prizes on offer at the Sitges fantasy film festival in Catalonia (7-17 Oct).
In the main competition section the jury gave the top prize to Finland’s Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale.
But there were best actress prizes for Josie Ho and a best make-up prize for Vitaya Deerattakul and Andrew Lin in the Hong Hong-produced film Dream Home. And the production design award went to 13 Assassins.
Elsewhere there were prizes for Cold Fish, Mutant Girls Squad and Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives.
