India’s Zee Cine Awards will be held in Singapore coming January next year.

This awards ceremony was first held in 1998 in Mumbai, and has since become a popular annual event for recognizing the best talents in the Indian film industry.

The event will be a star-studded one with guests such as actor Shah Rukh Khan, actress Priyanka Chopra, husband-and-wife pair Ashwariya Rai Bachan and Abhishek Bachan, and many other prominent personalities from the Indian film industry.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises is the organizer of the event, and it is India’s largest and most foremost television and media conglomerate.

Business Head of Zee Cinema, Mohan Gopinath, said, “This event showcases the crème de la crème of Indian cinema and provides a platform for the Indian film fraternity to interact with global fans and media.”

The official venue for the ceremony is the Grand Ballroom at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center.

There will be an event simulcast at the Events Plaza to allow the anticipated hordes of fans to catch sight of their favorite actors, and dance to Bollywood’s celebratory beats.

Stage performances will also present India’s best choreographed dances set to hit songs from the nominated movies of the year.

The event will be broadcast around the world to a potential audience of over 500 million viewers.
