Kiarostami to head Pusan Academy

Abbas Kiarostami has been appointed as head of this year’s Asian Film Academy at the Pusan International Film Festival.

He is joined by Ogigami Naoko as the mentor responsible for teaching directing, and Kim Hyung-gu as the cinematography mentor.

The Academy will run from 30 September to 16 October, and includes the attendance of 24 students from 16 countries.
