Thus Have I Seen Buddhist Film Festival (THISBFF), the longest-running and only biennial Buddhist film event in Singapore, will be presenting its first hybrid edition this year. The festival aims to provide a platform for film lovers to access and contemplate the Buddha’s timeless teachings of wisdom and compassion through its curated lineup of films.

Running from 25 September to 8 October 2021, THISBFF features 15 films available for in-cinema viewing at Shaw Theatres Lido, while eight films will be available for online viewing. Online screenings will be made available to audiences in both Singapore and Malaysia. Seven live dialogue sessions and five pre-recorded dialogue sessions will accompany the curation.

Tickets can be purchased via SISTIC. Early Bird Promo for the Online Pass ends 29 August. Visit www.thisfilmfest.com for more information.

Themed “Open Your Mind”, THISBFF 2021 sets the stage for sharing new perspectives with our
audience. The 15 carefully curated films, picked from all corners of the world, explore the current modern world issues, where navigating through uncertainties and dealing with constant changes is inevitable in an ever-changing environment.
