Catch Five Local Genre Short Films From NYFA’s Film Facilitation Programme on The Projector Plus2 min read

Conceptualised by National Youth Film Award (NYFA) 2020’s Youth Inspiration Award winner Huang Junxiang, the NYFA Film Facilitation Programme saw five veteran filmmakers mentor five NYFA alumni to present five genre short films.

Each short film will feature five different genres — comedy, horror, action, animation and drama. The first short, Henchmen, is now available on The Projector Plus, with subsequent releases every last Thursday of the month. Henchmen

Set to the backdrop of an archetypal “action movie” (when a hitman seeks revenge on his former boss), we follow two henchmen, who try to avoid their inevitable fate, while waiting for their turn to “protect” their boss from the hitman.
