Films by Late Malaysian Director Yasmin Ahmad Coming to Netflix1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteNetflix announced that it’s adding three movies by the late Malaysian director Yasmin Ahmad to the platform this month.
The new additions are Talentime, Rabun and Mukhsin – all of which will premiere on the streaming platform on December 18. In a statement, Netflix said it would bring the films to a “global audience”, potentially indicating a worldwide release on the platform.
Netflix also praised the director’s “legacy of shining a light on important social causes creatively and successfully” with her thought-provoking films and touching commercials for Petronas, among other organisations.
