CALL FOR ENTRIES: DrugFreeSG Video Competition 20201 min read

The DrugFreeSG Video Competition 2020 is organised by the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB), together with appointed vendor, Production Edge Pte Ltd. It is targeted at youths who are interested in video production. Centred on an anti-drug theme, participants are required to demonstrate their understanding of the theme by incorporating it into their videos.

Submission date is 28 June 2020

Eligibility:
– This competition is open to all youths between the age of 13 and 25 years old (as of the closing date of submission of video entries, 28 June 2020).
– Participants can include locally-based non-students or registered students of all international schools, vocational institutes/ITEs, Junior Colleges, centralised institutes, polytechnics and tertiary institutions.
– Participants must be Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents or foreigners residing in Singapore on a valid Singapore Immigration Pass (e.g. Student’s Pass, Dependant’s Pass) during the period of competition.

Categories:
Youths (aged between 13 – 18) – Theme: Knowledge Is Power – Length of video: Up to two minutes (excluding credits) short film (non-animation)
Young Adults (aged between 19 – 25) – Theme: Strengthen Your Walls – Length of video: Up to two minutes (excluding credits) short film (non-animation)

Theme:
The anti-drug theme for all categories is “For a #DrugfreeSG”.

Prizes:
Youth Category: First – $2,000 Second – $1,500 Third – $1,000 Merit (2 per category) – $500
Youth Adult Category: First – $2,000 Second – $1,500 Third – $1,000 Merit (2 per category) – $500
