Kupo, the grip and support division of The Mac Group, showed off a new feature on their light stands to improve portability.

The lightweight stands come with clips on two sides that allow multiple stands to be attached together, facilitating easier carrying. This could be useful if transporting multiple stands without a case. The 7′ version (US$70) weighs 2.42 lbs and supports 8.8 lbs of load while the 8′ version (US$77) weighs 2.86 lbs and supports 11 lbs of load. Both are air-cushioned, a necessity for preventing damage from loosening the joints too quickly. Could you see this being something practical for you?
