One of the most exciting film festivals in the fair city of Hong Kong, the HKAFF always promises a bold and adventurous line-up of features from across the region and their 2011 slate proves to be no exception.

The festival kicks off on 18 October with Johnnie To’s hotly anticipated LIFE WITHOUT PRINCIPLE and runs until 8 November, wrapping things up in fine style with Wong Ching Po’s LET’S GO. Other highlights include Tom Lin’s STARRY STARRY NIGHT, Sono Sion’s HIMIZU, Ishii Katsuhito’s SMUGGLER, Na Hong Jin’s THE YELLOW SEA and also Ji Ha Jean’s impressive debut BLOODY FIGHT IN IRON-ROCK VALLEY, which picked up the Best Asian Film at PIFAN earlier this year.
