Bigfoot Entertainment’s 1st Singafest Asian Film Festival will be held from 29 Sep to 2 Oct 2011 at the 500-seat Bigfoot Crest Theater in Westwood, Los Angeles. The festival celebrates Asian and Asian-American cinema.

Ashley Jordan, Bigfoot’s president of production, describes the event as “an innovation in regards to cinematic content, merging Eastern and Western cultures to showcase the best of both worlds to the Asian community and beyond.”

According to the festival’s website, the final lineup will be chosen by director Kenneth Bi (畢國智), producer Rosa Li (李嘉繪), producer Teddy Zee and Ted Kim, head of production at CJ Entertainment America.
