Winston Baker, a global producer of film finance conferences, announces the inaugural Film Finance Forum @ ScreenSingapore to be held on June 7, 2011 at the Capella Resort on Sentosa Island in Singapore.

The event will be hosted in association with Variety, the world’s leading content provider for the entertainment industry.

“With Asian filmmakers and distributors increasingly participating at international film markets, this conference will provide strategies to bolster continued growth for this region of the world. The speaking faculty will address film finance techniques, new government incentive options, co-production opportunities, alternative distribution avenues, and ways to monetize on 3D and digital innovation,” said Amy Baker, Managing Partner of Winston Baker. “We are thrilled to be offering such a crucial forum in Asia as part of ScreenSingapore’s lineup of events.

“As the market grows, it is critical that Asian producers, distributors, and film executives stay well-informed on the current finance landscape and the latest innovative strategies. It is also important for financiers from around the world to understand the emerging opportunities within the Asian film market. The Film Finance Forum @ ScreenSingapore provides a perfect platform to foster such discussions,” said Ashok Amritraj, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hyde Park Entertainment Group, Member of ScreenSingapore’s Board, and Chair of the upcoming Film Finance Forum in Asia.

In addition to Ashok Amritraj, the speaking faculty will include leading financiers and entertainment executives from around the world, such as Milt Barlow, Chief Executive Officer, China Lion Film Distribution; Jeanette Buerling, President, Magnet Media Group; Greg Coote, Chairman of the Board, ScreenSingapore; Christopher Mapp, Managing Director, Omnilab Media; Ross Matthews, Head of Production Investment, Screen Australia; Hal Sadoff, Head of International and Independent Film, ICM; and Mike Wiluan, Chief Executive, Infinite Frameworks; as well as other seasoned experts.
