The 2nd Golden Horse Fantastic Film Festival will screen 42 films in two Taiwan cities, Taipei (1-10 Apr) and Hsinchu (8-17 Apr). Last year’s edition was only held in the capital.
The festival opens this year with the premiere of Make Up by first-time director Lien Yi-chi. The mystery-thriller is about a mortuary beautician who comes across the corpse of her own high school teacher.
