Do you have aspirations of showing your film at the Cannes Film Festival?

Is your curiosity on the techniques behind that edgy video killing you? What about piecing your memories into a short film as a gift for the loved one?

The National Library Board (NLB) presents “digital sho(r)ts” – a 2-part Bear Fruit workshop by Lionel Chok. An Associate Artist at the Substation, Lionel will share the entire production process to making your first short film. Learn to conceptualise a short film at the end of the two sessions. This workshop is specially designed for adults and students who have an interest in filmmaking, or aspire to be a professional filmmaker.

Requirements
This programme is fully sponsored by NLB, so all we’re looking for in you are:
(i) an interest in digital filmmaking
(ii) commitment to attend the two sessions
(iii) commitment to work on the film project outside course hours
(iv) a camera that can record video, and
(v) a laptop with Windows Movie Maker
