Malay actor to make Bollywood debut1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteAdy Putra, a Singapore-born Malaysia-based actor will make his Bollywood debut playing superstar Shah Rukh Khan”s lawyer in the much awaited sequel to the movie ”Don”.
“When my agent called me up last month and said I got the part as Shah Rukh”s lawyer, my first reaction was ”Are you sure they”ve got the right Ady?”
Best known for his bad boy roles in hit Malay movies like ”Anak Halal” and ”Histeria”, Putra auditioned for the role in Kuala Lumpur for Don 2 in the middle of the year. He said he was told that he got the role last month.
”Don 2”, an action thriller, is the sequel to 2006 blockbuster hit ”Don”. Directed by Farhan Akhtar, it also stars Bollywood beauties Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta.
