Mariko Denda´s versatility as a performer has landed her a series of juicy roles on camera and onstage.

With her most recent films, the Tokyo-born actress adds assassin, interned Japanese American, and legendary mother to the list.

Kurando Mitsutake, director of Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf, credits Denda´s singular talent and screen presence with bringing life, depth, and believability to a larger-than-life character. Says Mitsutake. “I would pretty much love to work with [Denda] continuously.”
