Malay Studio Closes European, Asian Deals1 min read

Animasia Studio, a MSC Malaysia company, clinched a European distribution deal for its series ABC Monsters at the Asia TV Forum last week, as well as an Asian home-entertainment agreement on the show.

Spain’s Neptuno Films will represent the show in Europe, following its previous partnership with Animasia on Kungfu Chicken.

In addition, Innoform Media from Singapore picked up the home-video rights for several Asian markets, including Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Indonesia.

Adam Ham, the entertainment & media specialist of MDeC, responsible for the Malay pavilion at ATF, noted, “Ever since the Malaysian Government’s commitment and interest of the MSC Malaysia Creative Multimedia Content Initiative program four years ago, leading-edge Malaysian companies such as Animasia Studio has gradually established and proven itself as a major world-class player, offering local and foreign industry players a conducive business-friendly partnership, excellent production facilities and talent pool, offering high-quality development and world-class production value at a competitive lower cost.”
