Shaw opens suburban multiplex1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteSingapore’s Shaw Theatres group has opened a new multiplex in the Nex shopping mall in suburban Serangoon Central district on 2 December.
The ten-screen complex includes digital screening technology in six halls and 3-D equipment in five of the six.
The company says that its introduction of a “˜premium screen’ concept is a first in Singapore for a multiplex in a suburban, rather than a downtown, area.
Shaw currently operates six complexes in downtown and suburban areas of Singapore. The Nex mall has some 600,000 square feet of retail space and aims to attract two million visitors per month.
