The 15th International Film Festival of Kerala will have 12 Japanese films in the category of ‘Manga’ films.

‘Manga’ is a category of animation films. The film ranging from 5 minutes to 90 minutes will be showcased under this category.

The films in this category deals with a wide range of topic ranging from action, adventure, romance, historical drama, science fiction, mystery, horror, sexuality etc. The films in the ‘Manga’ category possess a genuine Japanese inheritance.

Japan is one among the largest cinema producing nations in the world. All these films aim to impart a novel and aesthetic experience of film viewing to the Kerala audience.
