Ethan Ruan gets Golden Horse Best Actor award1 min read

Taiwanese actor Ethan Ruan yesterday won the Best Leading Actor award for his outstanding performance in the Taiwanese film “Monga” at the 47th Golden Horse Awards.

Monga is a movie dedicated to the history of the underworld society in the traditional district of Wanhua.

Ruan beat three other competitors, all Chinese actors, namely Wang Xueqi of the film “Bodyguards and Assassins,” Ni Dahong of the film of “Judge” and Qin Hao of “Spring Fever.”

In addition, Lee Lieh, producer of the film Monga was received the Outstanding Taiwanese Filmmaker of the Year award, while “The Fourth Portrait” was rated as the Outstanding Taiwanese Film of the Year.
