A two-day festival showcasing India’s musical diversity, titled ‘Baajaa Gaajaa Film Festival 2010’, will be held at Gandhinagar.

The festival attempts to showcase India’s musical diversity and feature work of musicians, filmmakers and others who have contributed.

The festival will be inaugurated on Saturday by Asha Parekh, legendary actor of yesteryears, and former chairperson of Indian Board of Film Certification.

The festival will begin with ‘Natale Tumchyasathi: behind the adorned veil’, a Marathi film directed by Savita Medhatul & Bhushan Korgaonkar which talks about Maharashtra’s popular performing art of Lavani.
