Future Filmmakers Program 2011

By Sinema, Published on November 13th, 2010

New York University Tisch School of the Arts Asia’s Kanbar Institute of Film and Television is proud to host the Future Filmmakers workshop in Singapore.

The free workshop provides gifted students from underprivileged families in society an opportunity to learn the art of filmmaking.

Only a maximum of 16 spaces are available in the program on 12 Saturdays from February 2011 through May 2011. Participants are typically 16 – 17 years old and will spend every Saturdays, all day, at Tisch School of the Arts Asia to learn filmmaking.

As most students enter the program with little or no experience in video production, early assignments are designed to familiarize them with equipment and to introduce documentary and narrative approaches.
