Iglesias, director and producer of “Chosin” is a combat decorated, service disabled captain in the the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve.
“Chosin” producer Anton Sattler is also a combat decorated captain in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves.
Both studied film in college and were deployed to Iraq several times before they met through a mutual friend in January 2009.
In February they began filming. Fifteen months later and 300 hours of searching through archival footage within the National Archives, the documentary premiered at the G.I. Film Festival.
