3D Release Eyed For ‘Host’ Sequel

“Host 2,” the sequel to director Bong Joon-ho’s monster flick is being prepped as a 3D project, according to the film’s producer Chungeorahm Films.

“Given the nature of the film and the current trends in the global film market, we think that 3D is the medium to go,” said Su-yeon Kim at the company’s international business division.

Separately, Singapore’s Boku Films, run by Kevin Tong and Korea’s Chungeorahm, signed a co-production deal last year, although no further details have been announced since.

The “Host 2” team is looking for other co-production partners and investors at TIFFCOM.
