Geographic Channel and National Film Development Corpora­tion of Malaysia (FINAS) has embarked on the ‘Malaysia to the World’ initiative for the third year running, calling local producers and aspiring filmmakers to submit fresh ideas for developing doc­umentaries that feature untold stories and different facets of Malaysia.

Shortlisted filmmakers will be fund­ed to produce the one-hour docu­mentary in high-definition, under the close supervision of award-winning National Geographic Channel execu­tive producer Mok Choy Lin, director of regional productions.
