The seminar takes place on Wednesday, 18 June 2008 at the Raffles City Convention Centre at 2pm, where there will be demonstrations featuring real-world projects from post production houses, creative agencies, broadcasters and Hollywood film studios. New on shelf – Final Cut Server will also be demonstrated so you can see how it integrates with Final Cut Studio.
Announced last NAB and on sale since April, Final Cut Server is Apple’s new asset management tool which catalogues media files and generate thumbnails for viewing annotation and approval of content. It works on both Macs and PCs, and has broad search capabilities for quick file tracking, allowing you to search from simple keywords to complex combinations of IPTC, XMP and XML metadata.
