A short clip of the long-awaited Lucky Seven Project is up on YouTube (posted by one of the filmmakers involved, Boo Junfeng).
The omnibus is based on the concept of the ‘Exquisite corpse’ – a a method by which a collection of works are collectively assembled, the result being the cadavre exquis.
The 7 directors involved are: Sun Koh, Rajagopal, Boo Junfeng, Brian Gothong Tan, Chew Tze Chuan, Ho Tzu Nyen and Tania Sng. They each will unfold a part of the story of a leading man (played by Sunny Pang, last seen in Sun Koh’s Bedroom Dancing). The film is currently in post-production, and is slated to take part in the 2008 Singapore International Film Festival.
