Objectifs Films has just launched its new digital filmmaking course entitled ‘Introduction to the Filmmaker’s Journey’.

More than just a course teaching you the technicalities, the 10-session course also teaches scriptwriting, as well as soft skills such as framing and composition.

Starting on 4 October 2007, the class is held every Thursday from 7pm to 10pm, and students will get a chance to produce their own short film during the length of the course using a prosumer digital video camera and editing software.

Helming the course is Ric Aw, who made his TV debut as a director with the telefeature Ang Tau Mui for Arts Central, and was recently seen as the producer of superDONG, a short film which screened at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes 2007.
