In fact, this little green monster is Malaysian-made and well known among the Malays for being a mischievous character.

It is also known to drink its master’s blood and will kill its master if not properly fed.

“This is not a horror film but a comedy in which the toyol is not going to scare the audience. In fact, he will make you laugh,” said Ismail Bob Hasim, the director of Alamak Toyol.
The film, produced by MIG Productions, opened nationwide last Thursday.
