Temecula Film Fest announces broad selection of films, honorees
Dozens of filmmakers, actors, and musicians arrived at Monte de Oro Winery Tuesday evening to meet, mingle and celebrate the unofficial kick-off for Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival, scheduled for Sept. 14-18.
“Out of the hundreds of submissions (to the festival), you made the top 120. Congratulations,” said Founder Jo Moulton in a welcome speech that also recognized local sponsors and supporters such as Pechanga Resort & Casino and UltraStar Cinemas, as well as volunteers.
Citing a broad and eclectic selection of films and musical artists, the 17th annual Temecula Film Festival will feature the work of filmmakers from such countries as China, Germany, Bangladesh, and Poland
“It is the most internationally diverse (groups of films) we’ve had,” said the organization’s marketing consultant Annette Brown.
