Interested in forging fruitful partnerships with businesses?

Six Degrees is organising a one-day programme that will update participants on best practices and open up new ideas on forming successful business partnerships in the arts and creative industries.

John Godfrey, with his extensive experience in fundraising, training and the arts, will take participants through the steps in forming these partnerships. He will be joined by Yane Tan – with her nine years of experience in partnership development for the arts at organisations like Esplanade – Theatre on the Bay and Resorts World Sentose, she will provide insight from a local context. By the end of the workship, participants will be in a position to identify potential business partners, types of partnerships, make effective proposals and successfully manage business relations.

About the instructor
John Godfrey is a fundraising consultant and trainer. His specialites are majoy gift fundraising, capital campaigns and business partnerships. He has trained and provided consultancy to organisations in the UK, Australia, the Middle East, New Zealand and Asia. John’s fundrasing began with seeking sponsorship for the Sydney Festival and later the Edinburgh Festival. He managed a £20M building campaign for Edinburgh University’s Medical School and a £5M campaign for the business school at Napier University, Edinburgh. He helped found an HIV/Aids Charity in London
