70-year- old actor Richard Ng can be seen in his fourth Singapore Channel 5 series, Silver Lining, every Tuesday at 8.30pm.

Known for his signature moustache, he has been in over 80 Hong Kong films and was Best Actor Award nominee twice at the Hong Kong Film Awards.

And the semi-retired actor is not the only one in his family who has connections in Singapore. His only son Carl, 34, an actor, has also appeared in local shows such as Sayang Sayang.

“I wouldn’t want to do anything but acting. The hardship, everything that goes with it. It’s a weird profession. You work long hours, you work strange times, the pressure is there but it’s all part of the challenge,” he said in the interview.
