*UPDATED*

If you’re currently studying and have always wanted to be a part of an exciting grassroots programme, you could be the ones we are looking for!

We are currently looking for core committee members film students to join our upcoming initiative, the Sinema Film Students Club.

The Sinema Film Students Club (SFSC) has been set up with the aim of nurturing a community of students who are enthusiastic and passionate about the film industry.

Through brainstorming and the planning of film-related activities, events, festivals and workshops targeted at film & media students, committee members are given a hands-on opportunity to run the SFSC.

This provides an avenue for committee members to gain practical experience in working and liaising with industry professionals.

Committee members have three areas of specialisation to choose from, namely:

Programming

  • Film programming for Sinema “Showoff!”/School Showcase series
  • Looking for: Students with a good eye for films

Events

  • Planning and organisation of talks and workshops
  • Looking for: Students with an interest in event management and marketing

Content

  • Generation of student film-centric content for the Sinema.SG website
  • Looking for: Students with a flair for writing or journalism

Interested students may email filmstudentsclub[@]sinema.sg with their names, course/school, position they are applying for and reasons for applying.

Students who are currently in another course of study, students who have graduated and the general public – fret not, we are also looking at setting a separate enthusiast club for you!

Thank you for the overwhelming response!
