Comics to film seminar by Barry Levine1 min readReading Time: < 1 minute
Barry Levine, president of Radical Publishing, will be in Singapore from 19 to 20 January 2008 to give a talk on what it would take to get comics and film ideas to Hollywood.
With the surge in comic-to-film adaptations, Imaginary Friends Studios and Media Development Authority (MDA) has joined hands to bring in Barry Levine, most known for his role as producer of New Line’s Detroit Rock City.
Following his job in Dark Horse Comics (3rd largest comic book publisher), he founded Radical Publishing and has since set up seven Dark Horse comic book properties as films with studios such as Universal and Warner Bros.
Everyone who attends this two-day seminar will also have the chance to have their comic/film ideas shortlisted for an exclusive one-on-one pitching session with Levine. Registration is online, visit the Imaginary Friends Studios’ website for more information.
