The second talk by award-winning American filmmaker Andrea Richards for the 2nd Singapore Indie Doc Fest, will be on films directed by women today.

Singapore Indie Doc Fest logo It will focus on the work of talented female filmmakers who are featured in Andrea’s book, Girl Director: A How-to Guide for the First Time, Flat-broke Film and Video Maker. This includes rarely seen early works of Tamra Davis, Sofia Coppola and Miranda July, among others.

The talk will last about 45 minutes and is co-presented by The Substation and Objectifs as part of International Women’s Day. The session is free with email registration: movingimages@substation.org
