About the Production
Blackie Chen, head of Black Angel Prod., is also the deputy leader of Taiwan Beer Basketball Team.
Having witnessed the hardship and perseverance of the entire team on their journey to the coveted championship, he felt obliged to record their true story in the documentary form, passing on the players’ sturdy persistence and enthusiasm about basketball.
Producing a Taiwanese movie is no easy task, especially in terms of funding, and to Chen first-time directors Jia-Wei Lin and Leo Liao, this initially seemed like an impossible project.
Fortunately, the film was completed with considerable quality within a limited budget, thanks to the assistance and support from numerous parties, including a number of independent bands composing the score.
In short, “Attitude” is a film that speaks for itself — your attitude determines your dream. All goals can be achieved as long as you don’t give up.
Attitude will be premiering in Singapore at Sinema Old School on 5th January 2011.
