Founded in 1987, Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) has become an iconic event in the Singapore arts calendar, known for its dynamic programming and focus on groundbreaking Asian cinema for Singapore and the region. FEATURE FILM & SHORT FILM SUBMISSIONS The Festival will consider films that are at least a Singapore premiere, have not been broadcast on TV nor made available on the Internet, and completed no earlier than 1 January 2016. POP AYE, the debut feature film of Singaporean filmmaker Kirsten Tan, will make its World Premiere in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.
