Small tripods can be used in a multitude of ways. The more common ones would be vlogging, table top interview setups, or low-angle ground shots, filming from so low a point of view, that most full size tripod won’t be able to reach it, due to construction constraints – scenarios where a Hi-Hat might be used. Gitzo’s mini traveler should excel at all of these tasks.
The Gitzo mini traveler has two leg angles, that can be set using Gitzo’s patent pending “Pull & Fix” system. As you might assume, you don’t have to lift any kind of locking lever, you just pull the leg out, adjust the height and let it snap back into place. This makes adjusting the height considerably faster and easier, than with more traditional systems, that separate the locking and adjusting step.
